Leadership
Makindye-Ssabagabo CSO Network is governed by an elected leadership structure responsible for strategic direction, oversight, and coordination of network activities. The governance structure includes:
General Assembly:
The General Assembly is the supreme decision-making body and comprises all registered member CSOs.
Executive Committee:
The Executive team is led by the Chairman, deputized by a Vice Chair. Other members are the Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Member. The committee is elected by the General Assembly of member CSOs to serve a three-year term and provide policy direction and oversight.

CHAIRMAN
Patrick is a Journalist by training and also a retired educationist and social worker. Holds an Advanced Diploma in Pastoral Leadership.

Kiwanuka Rose
VICE CHAIR
Rose is a retired Palliative Care specialist, founding member of Hospice Africa Uganda, founding Country Director Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU). and founder Lweza Community Health Program.
Over the years, she has championed the development of palliative care in Uganda. She is now focused on promoting Primary Health Care (PHC).

Nassali Angella
SECRETARY
Angella is a Human Resources & Administration professional with over ten years of experience in leadership, organizational management, and civil society engagement. She currently serves as the HR/Administration Officer at Serenity Center,.She is also the Team Leader of Kanzi Crafts Uganda, where she leads art and crafts skilling programs for youth to promote livelihoods and community empowerment. Additionally, she has served as Secretary of the Makindye CSO Network since 2015.

Kawuma Mahad
PUBLICITY SECRETARY
Mahad is an experienced legal practitioner specializing in constitutional, commercial, electoral, and human rights law, and a trusted advisor to NGOs on governance and compliance. He is Executive Director of the Health and Education Rectitude Foundation and a Partner at LIN Advocates. He also serves as Principal of Muzimya Schools, combining legal expertise and educational leadership to advance justice, accountability, and national development.

Batamuriza Jackline
TREASURER
Jackline is a Field Officer at HOCW, overseeing and supervising all activities implemented outside HOCW Centre. She is a professional teacher with strong field and community engagement experience. She holds certificates in Counseling, Business Studies, Organizational Management, and Tailoring, equipping her with diverse skills that strengthen project implementation, community empowerment initiatives, and effective team coordination.

Kabonge Daniel
EXECUTIVE MEMBER
Daniel is seasoned Trainer of Trainers at Alef Approach.
He is a professional counsellor. holding a Diploma and Bachelor’s degree in Guidance & Counselling from Kyambogo University. He holds certificates in Project Planning, Public Administration, Child Protection and Business Planning & Development.
